made from waste,
made for Recycling
Here on Lolie we want to share and explain why we love the products you find here. A wonderful example this season is The Animals Observatory sunglasses designed by TAO and produced in collaboration with Yuma Labs.
Founded in 2016 Yuma Labs is based in Antwerp (Belgium). They are one of the leaders in creating the world’s most sustainable eyewear. The sunglasses are made from recycled materials and produced in the southeastern province of Fujian, in China. The word circular can be banded around a bit however this Belgian eyewear brand is talking about more than lens design because its frames are made from recycled plastic (mainly old bottles and nets) reclaimed from the ocean.

Frame made from 100% recycled plastic. 50% of which come from recycled bottles, cups and nets collected from the ocean and the seashore.
Composition: Econyl made (recycled and recyclable) with TAC lenses, anti-scratch and anti-reflective.
Their commitment to longevity and the life span of their products goes beyond the glasses as each pair comes with a special mu’lti purpose Send Back’ Case: (1) to protect your kid’s sunglasses day in, day out.
